Basic Information
FC/APC fiber optic patch cord is made of FC metal connector and the A level PVC or LSZH cable cladding. FC is a metal joint, but ODF will not have high temperature problems. The operating temperature is -40~75°C. Meanwhile, the metal joint can be plugged more times than plastic. APC polishing type, with the angle of the reflected light can pigtail not return along the original path. FC fiber jumper can use in single mode (9/125) OS1 or Multi mode fiber. FC/APC Fiber Patch Cord is mainy applied to FTTH(fiber to the home), fiber optic equipment testing, CATV system and so on. It is worth noting that the optical fiber should not be excessively bent or circling in use, which will increase the attenuation of light during transmission. After the FC/APC fiber optic patch cord is used, it must be protected by a protective sleeve to protect the fiber connector. Dust and oil contamination will damage the fiber coupling.
